No, a college degree is not required to join the Hands On Atlanta AmeriCorps program. Here are the list of requirements for participating.


You must:

  • Be able to commit to completing 1,700 hours of full-time service over 10 months
  • Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or lawful permanent resident of the U.S.
  • Have a Highschool Diploma/GED
  • Complete and clear state, federal, and NSOPW background checks
