Yes! Well, kind of.
Hands On Atlanta will send the following texts to volunteers who have provided their phone number in their profile or upon registering for the Opportunity.
Sign Up Confirmation:
A confirmation text message will be sent to volunteers immediately with Opportunity details
Day-Before Reminder:
A reminder text is sent to volunteers letting them know about tomorrow's Opportunity!
Cancellation Confirmation:
A text message will be automatically sent to volunteers if you cancel your Opportunity.
Opportunity Time Change:
If the time of an Opportunity changes, volunteers who are signed up will automatically receive a text message with the new time of the Opportunity.
Opportunity Location Change:
If the location of an Opportunity changes, volunteers who are signed up will automatically receive a text message with the new location details of the Opportunity.
Messages sent via Dashboard
When you send a message to volunteers from the nonprofit dashboard, volunteers will also receive a text message with the update.
