Difference between "active" and "submitted" opportunities

Last Update 3 jaar geleden

Before opportunities are shared publicly, they are screened in order to ensure that the event is appropriate and the details are understandable to our volunteers.

When a new event is created, it's status shows as "submitted," meaning it's waiting to be screened. All opportunities are screened within one business day.

Once they have been approved, their status returns to "active."

To keep in mind: if your opportunity runs out of time slots, even though the status may be "active," this opportunity will not show up to our volunteers. Only live events with upcoming time slots are able to be seen on Hands On Atlanta, so make sure you create new time slots when they are about to run out!
