Why does it seem like I am missing some participant hours?

Hands On Atlanta has measures in place to ensure that data reporting is as accurate as possible. There are a few cases in which we will actually suppress hours from being included in totals:

  1. We will not report hours for a single registration that are greater than 36 hours (we recommend ensuring that registrations have no more than 24 hours for a single registration). In most cases, completed hours greater than this value are a mistake and will throw off numbers
  2. If you just recently updated hour totals, it can take up to 24 hours for totals to be update, but it can be much faster than this. Having a time-crunch? Reach out to us at: [email protected] if this delay is causing issues and we will help out!
  • If you have a unique volunteer program where volunteers would be expected to report more hours than 36 for a single registration, reach out to us at: [email protected]

If neither of these apply and you still feel that you are missing hours, here are some recommendations:

  1. If you are on a paid plan, try checking the Participant Profile of the volunteer and review their completed hours at the bottom of the profile.
  2. If you are on a paid plan, try the Insights Export to see if any of the reported hours have a Registered status. If so, you can identify the Opportunity and time slot information needed to adjust the status to Completed and edit hours as needed.
  3. If you are not on a paid plan, we recommend using the Opportunity tab and the Insights tab to examine the Opportunities that might have missing hours, and then visiting the registration page
