Analyzing Demographic Information

Last Update há 3 anos
Hands On Atlanta now has the option for organizers to collect demographic information and expanded Participant information from volunteers upon their registration for a volunteer Opportunity. Hands On Atlanta collects, compiles, anonymizes, and shares this data with you so you can honor their privacy, better understand their perspectives, and become more inclusive of underrepresented populations.
Note: The ability to collect this information requires a paid plan!
How do I start?
The option to ask volunteers to provide demographic information can be found in the Extras section of the Opportunity edit/create process with a couple of different options. There are separate fields under "Participant Information": required volunteer info, and optional fields.
Participant Information
Once the questions have been answered by a participant, they will not need to answer the questions for any future Opportunities. We will store the Participant Information in their profiles and if they are signed-in, Hands On Atlanta will automatically apply the answers to these questions.
Demographics Information
Hands On Atlanta currently collects Race/Ethnicity information, but will be adding additional data points. Please contact [email protected] if there are specific data points that you're interested in. Like the Participant Information, Hands On Atlanta will store the answers to these questions so that Participants do not have to answer these questions when registering for another Opportunity
