Ratings and Reflections from Participants

Introducing... the star system!

After completing an Opportunity, volunteers are given the option to anonymously submit a Rating and/or Reflection about their experience serving with you.

Ratings are on a 1-5 star basis.

Reflections can be text and/or photos.

Getting Ratings & Reflections from Your Participants:

After completing an Opportunity, each Participant will automatically be sent an email prompting them to enter a Rating and Reflection. They're not required to do this, just encouraged to.

To enter a Rating/Reflection, Participants can...

  1. Click on the link in the email they receive and follow the instructions, OR...
  2. Log in via the Volunteer Portal and navigate to the "My Opportunities -> Completed Opportunities" section of their Profile
^you can encourage them to do this, too!

Are Ratings and Reflections made public?

Sort of. Reflections are intended to help you collect feedback on your programs and are not made available to the general public - so those are just for you. However, your star rating can be seen on the volunteer portal once it's made! See below for an example of how it'll look. If no volunteers have given you a star rating, the feature just won't appear at all.

Which Participant submitted each Rating/Reflection?

Ratings and Reflections are anonymous to encourage honest feedback.

How do I find my Reflections?

Ratings and Reflections are attached to each individual timeslot. So, just go to My Opportunities and click on an Opportunity - Past, or an Active Opportunity that has past timeslots. Select a timeslot, and scroll down to the bottom - Ratings + Reflections are underneath the participant list.

Pro Tip: In your Active section, there's a column for Reflections, so you'll know at a glance if the Opportunity has any.

NOTE: if you receive Reflections with inappropriate comments including but not limited to harassment, profanity, threats or other inappropriate elements - please contact [email protected]. This type of behavior has no place in our community.
