What does "recommending" an Opportunity do?

Looking to highlight the right Opportunities to your volunteers? Try "recommending" Opportunities in the Curate section of your Dashboard.
This is great for:
- Companies highlighting their favorite Opportunities to their employees
- Non-profit highlighting seasonal key initiatives
- Organizations with branded volunteer portals looking to highlight certain key events to their audiences
In the Curate tab, Dashboard users can browse opportunities that are hosted by other organizations.
You can either directly signup and register your volunteers for an opportunity or you can Recommend the opportunity to your affiliate volunteers.
Recommending an opportunity will:
- Send a notification to your affiliate volunteers letting them know that you given a recommendation.
- Ensure that that opportunity appears among the first 9 opportunities shown to your affiliate volunteers in the web-based Volunteer Portal.
- Mark that opportunity with a "Recommended" badge in the web-based Volunteer Portal.
